A sprite is an object that performs actions in a project. A sprite can be added from Scratch’s sprite library, it can be created or it can be uploaded from your computer. The default sprite on any project is Scratch cat. dance5

Scripts are used to give instructions to a sprite. This is done by snapping blocks together in the scripts area.

We will learn how a sprite can be made to move. The dinosaur sprite will move from one edge of the screen to the other forever. This movement is done by adding scripts to the dinosaur sprite.
