What you will be learning in this Lesson?
In the above Scratch Activity you will be exploring the below concepts in detail
Developing a game in Scratch Jr
Young children will be introduced to Scratch Jr. This is a programming language that enables children to create games. It consists of programming blocks that are put together so that they make a character move, jump, dance or sing.
Moving an object in a straight line
We will learn how to move an object (sprite) on the screen in a straight line. One of the car sprite will move when the game is started. The other car will move only when the player taps the screen.
We will learn how to make the player controlled car move when the tab screen is touched. When the Start on Tap block is added, the car will move whenever the screen is touched.
